Ch Ch Ch Changes...

I may not be showing yet. In fact, people who haven't been told don't have a clue. But the changes are very apparent to me. My hair is constantly oily and my skin has started to clear up in the past couple of days but I was having major breakouts for a while there. I had to get new bras (and I had just racked up at the VS semi-annual sale), and the weirdest thing to me is that my belly has softened. I didn't have a six pack or anything but I would say my belly was pretty toned. While I don't 'show' yet, it's like my muscle tone has given way to make room for the baby. Nobody warned me about this one. Also, Wesley says my hips have gotten larger, something I am totally ok with (so far). It's crazy that so much has already happened.

OH! And the cravings! Last night was one for the record books. I will spare you the details but it all ended with me crying over NOTHING and eating mint chocolate chip ice cream out of the bucket. Thank Goodness my dear husband found it endearing and humorous instead of obnoxious and pathetic. I haven't heard him laugh that hard or for that long in ages. His laughter was good natured and contagious. I went to sleep exhausted and content.

  1. Ah, yes, the crying. I was at about this stage of my pregnancy when an off-leash neighborhood dog attacked Larry for the third time. I went OFF on its owner. I mean, as in yelling at her, dropping F-bombs, storming off crying. It was awesome.

As for bras? HIGHLY recommend the Motherhood wireless ones. I didn't give them up until like three months ago. :)

  2. I'll have to give the Motherhood Maternity bras a try for sure. I'm thinking about stopping by the mall today too.
I wish I could have seen you going off on someone. It seems so unlikely that I bet it was hilarious- you know, in a 'laughing with you' kind of way.
    How's the tyke?

  3. Well, let's put it this way... the dog has been on a leash ever since. :) So, clearly, my freak-out worked.

The Wee One is wonderful, by the way. Someday soon I will update my blog! I need to add my new mommy pals to my list! :)
